This Great Horned Owl reminded me of the many years my husband served as a judge here in Wyoming.
My focus is to catch the personalities of my subjects, and if it brings a smile to the viewer, so much the better! My current focus are animals and birds using colorful, somewhat loose, impressionistic brushstrokes and sometimes being playful as I capture the personality of the subject
