The bison doesn’t need to roar to be heard. Its power lies in stillness, in the sheer force of presence. Once nearly wiped from the land it ruled, the bison stands as a symbol of strength, endurance, and quiet defiance.

In this piece, I leaned into the bison’s unshakable attitude—its ability to hold space, to command attention without demand. The bold reds carry both energy and memory: the force of survival and the shadow of loss.
