In this drawing, I wanted to capture pure, unfiltered joy. The moment I saw this expression, I knew it had to be shared - it’s the kind of happiness that’s contagious. With the sun on his fur and his eyes squinting in delight, he looks like he’s laughing at the simple joy of being alive. I focused on the warmth in the light, the softness of his fur, and that big, open smile to bring out the mood of playful, carefree bliss. For me, this piece is all about celebrating those little bursts of happiness that our animals feel and remind us to feel too.
