Sia's Chihuahua- Hichew

Hichew, the beloved Chihuahua from Taiwan, had a smile that lit up her owner's world. This piece was created to honor that joy—to capture her greatest smile and preserve it forever in memory. I had the privilege of translating their special bond into a gouache painting, using expressive strokes and my artistic perspective to recreate a moment filled with love. This portrait is a celebration of the connection between pets and their people, and the beautiful way art can help us hold on to what matters most.
